# Connect Muse to Tandem

Muse builds its own connector for Tandem from the address and an API key.

## Steps

1. In Tandem, open Agents and create an API key with the permissions Muse should have.
2. Ask Muse to create a custom connector for Tandem's MCP server at this address, and give it the key.

## How it signs in

Muse uses an API key. In Tandem, open **Agents** and create a key, choosing its permissions: read, suggest, write, delete. Copy the secret (it's shown once) into Muse. Revoke it any time under Agents.

## Try it

Ask Muse: "Which Tandem workspace are you connected to, and what can you do there?" Then try "Add acme.com to Tandem with the details from its website."
